Case studies for solar installers, documented on site
A buyer comparing three quotes does not want adjectives, they want a roof like theirs with its kWp, its cost, its payback and what the meter actually did afterwards. One case per quarter, documented on site, in the three formats your sales team needs.
A 30-minute video call. The audit document and the 90-day plan.

Your best argument is on a roof and nobody wrote it down
The job that went perfectly is remembered by the two technicians who were there. There is no page, no PDF, no video and no figures. So the next buyer gets told “we have a lot of experience”, which is what every other quote also says, and the decision falls back to price.
Branded & Cases
One case page per quarter
Built to be found: the type of building, the plaza, the kWp, the constraint that made it hard and the numbers after commissioning. It ranks and it sells at the same time.
Sales PDF
Two pages your team can attach to a quote without apologising for it. Same figures, laid out for someone who has to defend the decision to a boss.
Short video from the site
Ninety seconds shot on the installation: the roof, the array, the meter, the client if they agree to appear. No stock footage and no drone flights over someone else’s field.
The figures, verified
kWp, annual yield, self-consumption ratio, cost and payback, contrasted against monitoring rather than against the sales pitch. If a number does not hold up, it does not go in.
Testimonial at each renewal
When a client renews or expands, that is the moment to ask. Documented as it happens, with permission in writing.
How it runs
- 01
01 · Pick the job worth documenting
Not the biggest one: the one that looks most like the next twenty you want to win. Segment, plaza and type of roof decide it.
- 02
02 · Permission and figures
Written permission from the client and access to the monitoring data. Without both, we pick a different job rather than round the numbers.
- 03
03 · Document on site
One visit, photography, video and the technical interview with whoever ran the installation. Half a day of your crew’s time at most.
- 04
04 · Three formats, one truth
Page, PDF and video shipped together, with the same figures in all three, and handed to sales with a note on when to use each one.
What changes
Sales stops arguing experience in the abstract and starts showing a roof like the buyer’s.
The case page ranks for “solar installation in a [building type]” and brings enquiries on its own.
Quotes get compared on evidence instead of purely on price.
You accumulate a library: four cases a year is four segments covered.
Who we work with
Self-consumption installers
The speciality: filling installation calendars for residential and industrial self-consumption.
Energy communities
Filling a shared installation means convincing a hundred neighbours, one at a time.
Energy retailers
Winning a supply contract is easy. Keeping it past the first price rise is the job.
Heat pumps & HVAC
The sale that dies in the comparison against a boiler nobody has to explain.
Mobility & charging
Two buyers who share nothing: the neighbour with one car and the fleet with forty.
Engineering & EPC
Five deals a year, each worth millions, decided by people who read before they call.
Questions
Our clients do not want to appear.
Plenty do not, and that is fine. A case can run anonymised: type of building, plaza, kWp and figures, without a name or an address. What we never do is publish anything without written permission.
What if the installation underperformed the estimate?
Then it is not the case we publish. We do not adjust figures to fit the story, and a case built on a rounded number is the one that gets challenged in the meeting where it matters.
How much of our time does documenting take?
One site visit of about half a day, plus a technical interview of forty minutes. Everything else, including the permission paperwork, is on us.
Do we own the material?
Yes. Page, PDF, video and raw footage are yours from delivery, and they stay with you if the contract ends.
